Monkey Bread

Oh. My. God. If you like cinnamon rolls and you’ve never tried monkey bread you need to make this RIGHT NOW!

I bake this in a Bundt pan, but you could use a loaf pan, a 10″ cast iron skillet, or a 9×13″ pan. Anything smaller wouldn’t work.

Make sure you remove this from the pan while it is warm, or it will turn into sugar cement and you’ll need a sandblaster to remove it.

Monkey Bread

Ingredients

1 package refrigerator biscuits
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/3 cup plus 1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons (or more) ground cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350º and liberally grease a Bundt pan.

Mix together 1/3 cup of sugar and cinnamon. Quarter the biscuits and coat them with 1/4 cup melted butter.

Toss the quartered biscuits in the sugar mixture, then press into prepared pan

.In a small sauce pan over medium heat, simmer 2 tablespoons butter and 1/2 cup brown sugar for 4 minutes. Pour this mixture over the biscuits.

Bake for 30 to 45 minutes or until golden brown and biscuits are cooked through. Serve warm.
