Corn Sauté

Ingredients

1/2 cup sliced onion
1/4 cup sliced bell pepper (optional)
2 tablespoons bacon grease or oil
2 (17-oz.) cans kernel corn, drained
1/2 teaspoon basil
1 (17-oz.) can green beans, drained
Salt and pepper to taste
Sauté onion and pepper (if desired) in bacon grease for until tender. Add remaining ingredients and cook for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
