Salads

Salads can be served at the beginning of the meal as a first course, as a side, or at the end to get the taste of Aunt Margie’s tuna and banana casserole out of your mouth.

Leafy Salads

These types of salads have leafy greens in them.

Jiggly Gelatin Salads

These are the congealed delicacies!  It seems like anything with the name ‘congealed’ would not be considered a “delicacy” (except in Indonesia or Korea or something).

Note: one weekend, I was craving some congealed salad, but I didn’t have any marshmallows. I went ahead and made the recipe, omitting them and I actually liked the taste better! It was still sweet enough, but it had a nice tart taste that I loved.
