Monkey Bread
Oh. My. God. If you like cinnamon rolls and you’ve never tried monkey bread you need to make this RIGHT NOW!
I bake this in a Bundt pan, but you could use a loaf pan, a 10″ cast iron skillet, or a 9×13″ pan. Anything smaller wouldn’t work.
Make sure you remove this from the pan while it is warm, or it will turn into sugar cement and you’ll need a sandblaster to remove it.
Ingredients
2 packages refrigerator biscuits
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons (or more) ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350º and liberally grease a Bundt or tube or loaf pan.
Mix together sugar and cinnamon.
Quarter the biscuits and coat them with melted butter.
Toss the quartered biscuits in the sugar mixture, then press into prepared pan.
Bake for 30 to 45 minutes or until golden brown and biscuits are cooked through. Serve warm.
